On October 10, 2025, the charitable organization “Life Will Win” held a touching ceremony in Oslo to send an ambulance to a Ukrainian hospital.
A Day Filled with Compassion
In the center of Stange municipality, a very special atmosphere unfolded. Under Norwegian and Ukrainian flags, volunteers from the organization Livet vil vinne gathered to host a charity event in support of Ukraine.
12.09 late in the evening, our van lit up the yard in Malm (Steinkjer municipality). One by one, wheelchairs and rollators were loaded inside. Each of them is someone’s tomorrow: the chance to reach a doctor, step out into the yard, hug loved ones without pain. This is the first major shipment from Veldedig HjelpeSenter for Steinkjer kommune (Livet vil vinne) — and it’s heading to Ukraine.
In the heart of Stavanger, every afternoon smells of fresh baking and good intentions. The team at Veldedig HjelpeSenter for Stavanger “Livet vil vinne”, together with local volunteers, sets up a cozy, charitable mini-market where anyone can have a cup of coffee, smile — and make a small yet very meaningful contribution to Ukraine.
We did it — together! Thanks to your donations, the tireless work of LIVET VIL VINNE volunteers, and our partnership with Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid, two ambulances have now been purchased. Both vehicles are being prepared for the long journey: technical service, equipment checks, paperwork and logistics.
The Gå på tur hiking club at Livet vil vinne Stavanger began in early 2025 to get outdoors, discover Norway together and build a community where everyone matters. So far we’ve walked 12 km to Utstein Monastery, visited Fjøløy Lighthouse, tried kayak/canoe on Stokkavatnet, and cheered biathlon stars at the Blinkfestival in Sandnes. We’re open to new participants — come to unwind, make friends and explore. Organizers: Olga Stepushyna and Volodymyr Stepushyn.
Art therapy by Livet vil vinne began on 26 March. After a summer break, sessions resumed on 26 August at a new location — Langgata 76, Sandnes. It’s an open, safe space for creativity and recovery, led by volunteers Olga Bondarchuk and Oksana Kostrytsia.
22 August 2025 in Stange (Norway) the city festival took place with a concert and a market. Our volunteers in Stange secured the last available spot — and in half a day and half a night prepared Ukrainian treats to exchange for donations.
In Kristiansand, the Livet vil vinne team organized a Borscht Festival. The event brought together local residents and tourists, introduced Norway to Ukrainian cuisine and culture, and helped raise funds for humanitarian aid.
16 May, on the Holmestrand waterfront, our team together with the local Ukrainian community held an open fundraising event. Visitors enjoyed home-baked treats, donated via Vipps, and learned how every contribution turns into practical help.
