Projects and initiatives

1. Project “Helping Hand”

Goal: Organize collection points in Norwegian communes to support Ukrainians in Norway and Ukraine.
Description: The project involves setting up convenient collection points in community centers, schools, and churches. Items collected include clothing, shoes, small appliances, hygiene products, toys, and seasonal needs (winter clothes, heaters). Volunteers sort the items, some of which remain in Norway to support Ukrainian refugees, while others are transported to Ukraine.
Target Audience: Norwegians who wish to donate items; Ukrainians in Norway and Ukraine who need basic supplies.

2. Project “Path to Integration”

Goal: To assist Ukrainian refugees in adapting to the Norwegian job market through training sessions, online courses, and methodological materials.
Description: The project includes offline seminars, online modules, and expert support to acquire key skills and knowledge. Participants receive certificates and Karin Ellis's book.
Target audience: Women, youth, single parents, and those who have been unemployed for an extended period.
Expected outcomes: Improved employment rates, integration into the professional environment, and reduced social isolation.

3. Initiative “Warm Home”

Goal: Provide communities with essential winter resources to ensure warmth and basic living conditions.
Description: This project focuses on collecting and distributing generators, heaters, warm blankets, winter clothing, and fuel to the communities most in need. It also includes insulating temporary shelters and providing heating for displaced families.
Target Audience: People in cold regions or with limited heating.

4. Project “Community Strength”

Goal: Establish and support the Ukrainian community in Norway.
Description: Regular meetings, cultural events, shared celebrations, and workshops for Ukrainians in Norway. This project enables people to make new friends, share experiences, and find moral support.
Target Audience: Ukrainians in Norway seeking community and support.

5. Cultural Program “Ukrainian Home”

Goal: Promote Ukrainian culture among Norwegians and create a positive image of Ukraine.
Description: Organize cultural evenings, exhibitions, film screenings, and lectures about Ukrainian culture and traditions. The project allows Ukrainians to share their culture and Norwegians to learn more about it.
Target Audience: Norwegians and Ukrainians interested in cultural exchange.

6. Initiative “Creativity for Peace”

Goal: Promote Ukrainian art and culture abroad.
Description: Exhibitions of Ukrainian artists, musical and theatrical performances, where Ukrainians can showcase their talents. This also helps create a positive image of Ukraine internationally.
Target Audience: Ukrainian artists and Norwegian public.

7. Project “City of Friendship”

Goal: Encourage friendship between Ukrainian and Norwegian families.
Description: Organize events where Ukrainian and Norwegian families can meet, share experiences, and celebrate holidays together.
Target Audience: Families with children.

8. Project “Youth for Youth”

Goal: Encourage young Ukrainians to engage in social activities.
Description: Volunteer programs where young people can help others, arrange cultural events, and organize educational and entertainment activities. Creating an active youth community.
Target Audience: Ukrainian youth in Norway who want to make a difference.

9. Project “Family Club”

Goal: Create a safe space for Ukrainian families.
Description: Regular meetings for families with children, where parents can share experiences, and children can have fun and make new friends.
Target Audience: Families with children who need support in new conditions.

10. Initiative “Shared Celebrations”

Goal: Organize holiday events for Ukrainian families in Norway.
Description: Celebrations of Christmas, Easter, and Ukraine's Independence Day with games, competitions, and traditional dishes.
Target Audience: Ukrainian families wanting to feel connected to their homeland.

11. Program “Culinary Traditions”

Goal: Introduce traditional cuisine from Ukraine and Norway.
Description: Culinary workshops teaching traditional dishes from both countries.
Target Audience: Norwegians and Ukrainians interested in culinary culture.

12. Project “Journeys Without Borders”

Goal: Introduce Ukrainians to Norway’s beauty through travel.
Description: Organize excursions to famous sites in Norway.
Target Audience: Ukrainian refugees.

13. Initiative “Volunteer Center”

Goal: Create a place for coordinating volunteers.
