In Kinn municipality, the Livet vil vinne team hosted a warm and lively Theatre Day: a performance of “Kolobok”, home-baked treats from our volunteers, face painting, handmade dolls and children’s sock-toy crafts. Laughter, applause and the smell of fresh baking filled the room — a cosy celebration for kids and adults alike.
The tale comes to life.
Our young actors in masks and costumes brought “Kolobok” to the stage with playful lines, songs and a bit of improvisation. A painted cottage with a chimney set the scene, and the audience applauded after every episode.
A taste of home.
Volunteers treated guests to home baking — cakes and cookies that gathered people around the tables for new conversations and friendships.
Colourful cheeks — happy kids.
Face painting turned little ones into sunflowers, foxes and wolves. Parents caught every smile on camera.
Craft & creativity.
Workshop tables showcased handmade dolls, décor and a fun activity: children made sock toys — from quirky “monsters” to cupcake-style puppets. Creativity brought everyone together.
Community.
The day showed how culture and making things together build bridges. Ukrainian families, Norwegian friends and neighbours in Kinn shared time, warmth and support.
Thank you.
Huge thanks to our volunteers, parents and children — and to everyone who joined. Together we are stronger.
