In the centre of Vikersund, the atmosphere everyone loves about Vikersunddagen was in full bloom: music, smiles, the aroma of home-baked treats and genuine conversations. Our Veldedig HjelpeSenter for Sigdal “Livet vil vinne” hosted a warm charity stand, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by, offered support, joined the lottery and donated to help Ukraine.
Every krone is real support for those who need it.
What we had at our stand
- 🍰 Home-baked treats and refreshments: cakes, Swiss rolls, waffles and more — all made with love.
- 🎨 Handmade items and paintings: warm, unique pieces found new homes — and turned into real help.
- 🎈 No-loss balloon lottery — small gifts and good vibes for kids and adults alike.
- 💬 Conversations and support: we met people, talked about our projects, answered questions and shared stories about Ukraine.
Why it matters
Vikersunddagen is about the power of community. During the festival we raised funds that go to humanitarian initiatives for Ukraine: purchasing essentials, supporting help centres and preparing the next deliveries (including medical needs and special transport).
