Walking the “Livet vil vinne” Path: A Call to Action for Everyone

What does it mean to walk the “Livet vil vinne” path? It is more than words, more than just the name of an association. It is a call of the heart, a life stance, a conscious choice of anyone ready to confront injustice, pain, and destruction. It is the path of those who, despite every trial, keep the fire of resilience, faith in goodness, and the striving for victory alive within.

This is the story of millions of Ukrainians who left their homes and homeland. Because of Russian aggression, bombardments, and war, they had to abandon everything they cherished. It is the story of those who, having found refuge in Norway, received collective protection and preserved their inner flame. That flame is the desire to help their country, their people, and everyone who fights for freedom and peace.

Imagine this: the home where you grew up, where children’s laughter once rang, is reduced to ruins by shelling. You are forced to flee, leaving behind everything—from family photos to everyday life. You arrive in Norway, a country that opened its doors to you, gave you shelter and safety. Yet your heart longs to act. While thousands of kilometers away your loved ones and compatriots continue to struggle for survival, an irrepressible need burns within you to help Ukraine, to support those living under attack, and to bring the triumph of good closer. That is when you understand that walking the “Livet vil vinne” path is your personal duty—your mission. Today, every Ukrainian in Norway has the chance to become part of something greater.

The association “Livet vil vinne” is a community united by a single purpose: to build a better world, to support Ukraine in its struggle, and to give hope to those who have lost it. It is a platform that opens doors to active participation and tangible deeds, giving you the sense that your efforts truly matter. Every step you take, every action you make becomes a building block in the foundation of future victory.

Opportunities that await you. “Livet vil vinne” offers concrete steps you can take today. You can become a volunteer—a person who creates good with your own hands. You can open a charitable help center in your municipality, creating a place of unity for everyone who wants to help. You can support Ukrainian communities in Norway, helping them integrate, find work, and preserve their culture and identity.

Perhaps you want to inspire young people? Then join the “Livet vil vinne” youth movement! It is a chance for young people to become agents of change. Take part in the association’s projects—from educational programs to cultural events, from collecting humanitarian aid to information campaigns that tell the world the truth about the war in Ukraine.

And if your heart calls for even more, set out on humanitarian missions—to the places where help is needed right now, where your hands, knowledge, and energy can save lives. Each of these paths is your personal contribution to our common cause. It is a chance to say, “I fight. I believe in victory.” This faith is upheld by real actions, real people, and real results. Behind every volunteer, every center, and every mission stand stories of lives saved, hope restored, and steps toward peace.

Why is this important now? We live in a time when the world is divided between those who fight for justice and those who choose to close their eyes to others’ pain. The war in Ukraine is a trial for all humanity, a test of our capacity to remain human. Each of us—whether a Ukrainian who left home or a Norwegian who opened their heart—faces a choice: to stand by or to take part. “Livet vil vinne” is a movement that declares: “Life will win.” But this victory depends on everyone who is willing to lift their head and act.

Every day brings us closer to peace.

How does your participation change the world? Friends, the time for words has passed—the time for action has come. If your heart longs to help, if you believe that life must prevail, then “Livet vil vinne” is waiting for you. This is your chance to become part of history, part of a movement that changes the world. This is your chance to prove that even in the darkest times we can light a flame. Our signature keepsake, the “Candle of Life,” symbolizes this.

Become a volunteer—and let your hands become helping hands. Open a help center—and let your municipality become a hub of kindness. Join the youth movement—and let your generation become a generation of achievers. Take part in projects and missions—and let your energy become fuel for change.

Together we are an invincible army of goodness! “Livet vil vinne” is a promise: life will win—if we act.

Join today! Become part of the victory!

Livet vil vinne!

About the Livet Vil Vinne Charitable Association

The charitable association Livet vil vinne is a non-profit, non-governmental organization created to provide charitable aid to Ukrainian territorial communities, Ukrainians, and Ukrainian refugees. In the face of the global challenges Ukraine is currently experiencing, our mission is to facilitate humanitarian support and cultural exchange. We aim to improve the lives of those in difficult circumstances and strengthen the ties between Ukraine and Norway.

The key objectives of Livet vil vinne include:

  1. Collaborating with Ukraine's united territorial communities. We are dedicated to providing essential aid to local communities, especially during these times of war and economic challenges. By working closely with local leaders, we aim to address the real needs of people and respond as effectively as possible.

  2. Organizing events for Ukrainian refugees in Norway. It is essential that those who have fled Ukraine feel safe and supported in their new environment. We focus on helping them adapt by offering language learning programs, employment assistance, and psychological support.

  3. Engaging Ukrainians in volunteer activities. Our association brings together proactive individuals who are willing to contribute to helping others. We develop volunteer programs that enhance the quality of life both in Ukraine and abroad.

  4. Promoting Ukrainian culture in Norway. We believe that culture is an integral part of a nation's identity. Through our cultural events, we aim to preserve Ukrainian traditions and introduce them to the Norwegian public, enriching the mutual understanding between our two nations.

We believe that through our efforts, we can strengthen international ties and contribute to Ukraine's recovery. Our projects support people, create sustainable development opportunities, and inspire hope for a better future.
